Tips on finding a suitable property:
- Visit the area in which you want to locate
- Take note of any properties with ‘To-Let’ signs – follow up with relevant property agents. Search the Business Directory for property agents.
- Look in local publications for private adverts such as Bristol Evening Post, ‘Trade-It’, Venue and The Spark – often you can find small offices or workspaces that are not advertised through property agents.
- Look out for ‘Closing Down’ signs – enquire within to find out who owns the property. If you are having problems finding out who owns the property contact the Land Registry.
- Look on local shop notice boards – you may find private adverts here.
- Speak to local businesses and shops if there is a particular building you are interested in at that vicinity.
