Bristol City Council inivites all Local SME's Caterers to an Open Door Event   Can you make a Real difference to the catering standards in Bristol? The City Council want to expand their supplier base within our catering contracts.  We welcome suitably qualified and experienced organisations who wish to be considered for catering contracts for Bristol City Council and 15 local managed schools.  To introduce the contracts which are due to be let, we are  holding an industry open day for all types of caterers, suppliers and producers to find out about the opportunities that are on offer with Bristol City Council.
 
We would like to invite you to this event which will be held:                ON:        6th September  2006       AT:   The Southville Centre, Beauley Road, Southville, Bristol, BS13 1QG         FROM:   10.30am - 5.00pm                                                                                The City Council are looking for dynamic and innovative compaines to supply the Council in four main areas: 
  • One contract to provide the catering for large functions and events within the Council House
  • Framework agreement to set up providing business lunches and beverages
  • Contracts for the delivery fo staff catering - providing canteen, sandwich rounds, vending machines & kiosk services throughout the Council buildings
  • Framework agreement for 15 schools who require the catering for real food for schools meal
There will be presentations from the Procurement and Education Client Unit on the contracts available and our requirements for fulfilling those contracts at 10.30am.   These presentations will be repeated at a second session 2.30pm.   During the rest of the day, procurement personnel will be on hand to answer questions in four contract areas.  If you are unable to come along to the presentations, please feel free to drop in throughout the day.  The event is free but booking is required.   When completing the booking form, please indicate which session you would like to attend or whether you will just be dropping in during the day. If you think you have what it takes, please come to the Open Day on 6th September to find out more.  If you are unable to attend, all the information from the open day will be available on www.businessmatch.org.uk  from Thursday 7th September onwards.   It will not be possible to release contract information before this date. Contact: If you have any queries, please contact Christine Storry on 0117 922 4336     or   info@businessmatch.org.uk
